It's been a while since I've updated. And it's been a while since I've had things to say. You get where this is going. Does anyone really look at artists' websites anymore or do they just go directly to myspace. I'm going to update regardless. I will update even despite the fact that the traffic has been diverted and I will make sure the news continues to flow from KD headquarters. But really....We re almost done with our new album. In general the songs are shorter, more danceable, and entirely pleasing. Ok, I'm off to drink some coffee and greet the day with a triumphant blast of joy.

We are very happy to announce that our music has finally made it onto iTunes. Yep, it's true. I don't believe the west is the future is up there yet but we have our fingers crossed. In other exciting news we have started working on our new record, Long Odds. I really really really hope that we can release it in Septemeber. We did a marathon drum session last month at Shortman Studio where Ian tracked the drums for sixteen new tunes. I will be working on finishing up the record in the next couple months. A special thanks goes out to Alex Oana, Corey Palmer, Brian Herb, and Thief River (yeah, you know who you are!).

Also, the Devilduck Records Compilation which includes "Ten Thousand Lakes" was released in Germany this week. Read all about here. R.E.M., one of my favorite bands as a youth, is on the compilation as well! O.k, over and out....
